I pulled out a can of garbanzo beans last night and started searching for a roasted garbanzo bean recipe that I have used in the past.
Because my recipe binder currently looks like this
(I am in the process of organizing it), I had no luck finding the recipe. I went online to search for a new one. There are quite a few out there, but I decided to go with this one from Amy at She Wears Many Hats. Like Amy says in her post, garbanzo beans are a good source of protein and fiber, and roasting them makes for a healthy on-the-go snack!
I threw the garbanzo beans in the oven right after dinner and let them roast while I got the kids bathed and ready for bed. I made the mistake of not checking the beans when I pulled them out of the oven after 40 minutes. A few of them were crunchy, but most still had a soft center. The flavor was great however, and I can’t wait to play around with the seasonings on my next batch. Overall this is an easy recipe that anyone can make, and I highly recommend it!

oh would be great with some masala powder
did you mean garam masala? I would try cumin too. I've seen this recipe often but never tried it. I like to eat garbanzo beans as is. Just rinse (if canned) or after boiling, have some in a bowl w/ tiny dash of salt and some cumin…
