Lately I have been reflecting upon the word hope and what it means to me. When the world seems crazy and scary and unpredictable, I remember that there is hope. Where do I find it? I find it in my faith. I find it in selfless acts of love from friends and family. I find it in the laughter of my kids and in a rainbow that brightens up the darkest day. I find hope in creating something new with my hands and in counting the uncountable blessings that have been given to me. I find it in selfless giving. When ordinary people give extraordinarily to meet the needs of others. I find hope in remembering that one person CAN make a difference.
I am getting ready to make some changes to my blog to reflect this season of hope. I am excited to share it with you and to let you know how you can get involved. Wherever you are and whatever you do, remember there is hope, and you can be the one to shine it onto someone else.
