Under the Lights

Spring training, extended spring training, mini-camp…the long-awaited regular season is finally here!  The first two games under the lights have been a blast for the kids.  Running around, staying up late, playing with friends, cheering for Daddy’s team.  Last night was game #2 and win #1 for the AZL Diamondbacks (and the first professional win as a coach for Daddy!).

The AZL Rookie League games are free to attend, so if you are ever in the area, feel free to stop on by.  We don’t have a fancy organ player or any music for that matter, but we do have young professional baseball players who are excited to play the game and work hard towards their dream of playing in the big leagues.
Last night’s game at Hohokam against the Cubs

Yay baseball!

The seats were a bit dusty since no one had sat in them since spring training in March.

Talent show going on during the game

“Daddy’s not working, he’s just sitting there!”

Congratulations on your first win boys!

    Congrats on the win!
I love going to baseball games. They are one of my favorite sporting events to see live!

Free!? Every minor league game I’ve been to (a LOT on the Eastern seaboard) has cost at minimum of $10, that’s awesome that your games are free!
