Thankful Thursdays Week: 29 – Taking a few days off

Whenever I’m asked to describe my job, I end up telling the person who asked just how thankful I am that I set my own hours, share my passions, and get to stay home with my kids while I do it.

I am so grateful for this job.

But every so often, I realize that I haven’t taken a day off in a while.  In a long while.

This weekend is the perfect opportunity to step away from the computer, say goodbye to Twitter and Facebook, and recharge.  I have some baseball games to go to, some reading to catch up on, and some wine to sip.

I have backgammon games to play (Joe is determined to improve his game), dolls to dress up, and a certain baseball coach who I haven’t seen much of since the big trip.

In other words…

have a great weekend.
