September Whole Foods Challenge

So I’ve been feeling a bit…crappy lately.  Not all day every day, but enough that it’s exhausting both mentally and physically.  My stomach’s been upset, my body has been achy, and I have some wicked heartburn right now as I type this. I’ve known for a while that it would be best to do some kind of an elimination diet, but haven’t felt pushed to start it until now.  My…

Quick & Easy Meal Idea

Thank you for all of your helpful and supportive comments yesterday.  I appreciate every single word.  Many of you had ideas that I’ve never considered about what might be causing my antibody levels to remain high.  So thank you for brainstorming this issue with me! How to Heal a Diastasis the RIGHT way

UPDATE: Diastasis expert Wendy Powell answers all of your questions from the comment section here.  Remember back in June when I posted about being so over my diastasis?  Well, it’s still there.  Mostly because I didn’t do the exercises I said I was going to do.  Yep, even fitness professionals get lazy sometimes. There was a little more to it than that though.  For one, I strained my neck…

Thankful Thursdays: Week 33 – Sunsets and Streaks

Thankful For a few hours with an old friend. Letting Shelley put color in my virgin hair. Not freaking out about the bright streaks in my hair. Spending a few hours with another good friend, and the fact that she scouted out super cool gluten-free spots for us to visit. A pirate welcoming me home from LA. Mom-in-Law taking the helm while I was gone, and leaving me with clean laundry and…
