Searching for answers…

Searching for answers...Real life with celiac disease

This week has been rough.  My brain has been so cloudy that I’ve struggled to have coherent conversations and to be fully present as a parent, wife and friend.  Having to work so hard at these things leaves me utterly exhausted.  Emotionally and mentally drained.

I’m driving back up to the Mayo Clinic this morning for the follow up with my GI doctor.

Still searching for answers…

I’ll keep you posted.

Mayo is a great place and I hope you get your answers soon. Sometimes a good drive really helps you find a peaceful place after a hard week. Put on some good music and enjoy the sun and semi-spring weather we are finally having.

Yes Jenny S! I totally agree. Good luck Alysa. I hope your appointment goes well and you get some answers. Extra vitamins might help, and plenty of water. Hugs. B

    dear
there is no one in the world perfect and having no questions and worries. Like u
going to doctors, consultants and etc. u r the best doctor of yourself. think possitively and without up and downs life is not interesting. the more your role, the more returns/reward for u in different ways. u have to analyse compare with others of more problems and relaxed. Life is beautiful and the roles u r palying are great and definetely u r most wanted person. think of your efforts to comfort others/dependent and you should be proud of yourself

move ahead with new thoughts and be positive.

    Hi Alysa,

I hope you feel better soon. I sent you an email on “carrageean” and other info that may/may not answer at least some of your concerns. I am a true believer that our food industry is riddled with problems. We need to be more conscious of what goes into our bodies. This goes beyond the “eat right, and exercise” motto. It is also for “us conscious” consumers who try reallly hard to avoid all chemicals, and other unhealthy invaders. There are just too many to mention, but I implor you to do your search. Whatever is causing your ills, there’s an answer for it. I honestly believe it is within our reach to not only avoid these rogue ills, but prevent most illness..if only we have the information of what goes into our body, (and our environment) and how it affects us. Good luck, and heep us posted.
