Homecoming…and rest

Jeff Bajenaru Malawi, Africa

Jeff just returned from a 15-day trip to Malawi, Africa.  He met the kids that you helped feed through our Advent Conspiracy coffee stand, and even drank water out of the new boreholes you helped fund.  The team he was with also helped over 700 people see clearly for the first time by running multiple vision clinics.  I’ll let him share more about his trip soon, but for now we are going to hole up as a family and rest for a few days.  We’re glad to have our guy back home.

Wow. Just found your blog by chance and saw that your husband had made a recent trip. We used to live in Malawi from 1991-2002! We were there with The Navigator’s working with college students, We thought we might go back, but we have not been able to afford a visit. I am sure that its a different place since we left about 10+ years ago. One of our son’s was born there (in Blantyre), and our oldest son was born on South Africa. (And third son in TX!)
Do you have any updated info on Advent Conspiracy…It looks alive and well, by your husbands report, but the link only listed info from 2012…looking forward to hearing more. Love the practical help/difference you are making in the lives of the Malawians! God Bless you and your dear family!

Hi Kathy, so glad you stumbled upon my blog 🙂 We are gearing up for another season of Advent Conspiracy, and I will be posting about it soon. I’m also trying to get my husband to do a guest post about his experience there. Stay tuned!
