Thankfulness Lately

Lately I’ve been thankful for pick-your-own organic peaches,

for 75 pounds of crawfish, and friends to share them with.

For backyard baseball,

and making healthy choices.

For snuggles with Hobbs,

and a Harlem Globetrotter taking time to teach little ones about basketball and bullying.

For time spent with a tiny friend,

and for health insurance and brave faces.

For parents who go above and beyond,

and for help from tiny fingers.
