How to Feed the World

Today is World Food Day.  A day to not only open our eyes to the issue of chronic hunger, but a day to take a stand against it. I can’t feed the world. But I can feed Chereka. I can’t feed the world. But I can feed Reymart. I can’t feed the world. But I can choose to partner with an organization that creates a sustainable future for those who…

Inspiration from Guatemala and the #fhbloggers

The Food for the Hungry bloggers are in Guatemala this week, and I have been soaking up every post.  Maybe it’s because I’ve seen firsthand the way communities are transformed through child sponsorship, or maybe it’s because this crew is so dang talented.  In any case, here are a few of my favorites so far… Loving Like God Intended – Lindsey Nobles I want to live like them. Rainy day in the desert

This morning we woke up to this. When you live in the desert, a rainy day is cause for celebration.  We filled the morning with memory games, Valentine crafts, painting, and listening to thrifted albums. What a beautiful day.  __________________________________________ Don’t forget to follow the FH Bloggers as they share stories from Bangladesh this week! I’m loving Logan’s first post “The Adventure” at Life for Dessert.

Because no child should go hungry…

As a mom, I often worry about whether or not my kids are eating enough vegetables or drinking enough water.  I want them to be healthy, and I want to do my best to raise non-picky eaters.  I’ve written about this subject many times with hints and tips on how to get your kids more interested in healthy foods.  I encourage my kids to drink water throughout the day, and…
