This Is How Our Garden Grows

Our garden is really taking off!  I am constantly amazed at how fast things grow.  Check out these Costa Rican Red Sweet Peppers:  July 12th July 20th August 2nd Now we just have to wait for them to turn red so we can eat them! Our cucumber plant has been busy growing as well. On July 12th, you can see it starting to crawl out of the garden, and the…

Stretching Towards the Sun

Friday, we planted a row of sunflower seeds. By Sunday, they were already poking their little heads out of the ground. We water the seeds and watch them grow. By Tuesday, most of the plants had shed their shells and completely opened up. Some are still waiting to be completely released so they can stretch towards the sun.

Yellow Pear Tomato Plant First I planted…

Mother’s Day Surprises

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day!  Mine was a whole weekend filled with surprises.  On Friday, my dad was planning to teach Jeff how to do ribs on the smoker.  Since that is a pretty long process, my mom and I decided to take the kids to the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum.  I thought Joe would enjoy looking at the trains.  We got there a little early, so…
