Last week, I challenged you to take either the Hated Veggie Challenge or the New Veggie Adventure Challenge. I am excited to report that many of you have taken me up on one or the other. So far, the winner for most hated veggie is brussels sprouts. I would love to hear about what you have tried this week.
As I told you, I grabbed a bunch of organic rapini (also known as broccoli rabe) at the store. Turns out, I absolutely love it! I took step-by-step photos as I prepared it so that I could share my recipe with you, but I am currently having technical difficulties both with my camera and my computer. I hope to get it all worked out today so I can post the recipe later.
So for now, I would love to hear from you:

So I have never had Swiss chard before and decided to give it a try. I found a recipe online that had me saute the stems and leaves in 2 Tbsp olive oil and 2-3 cloves of garlic.
It was AWESOME!!!
After sauteing the garlic and chard stems for a few minutes, I added the leaves a bunch at a time, continuously stirring. When all the leaves were added, I covered up the pan for about 5 minutes, until the leaves were a little wilty. Afterwards, I added a few toasted pine nuts. I couldn't believe how good this was! I am really looking forward to make it again, this time making it for my wife and introducing it to her, too.
Thanks, Alysa! If it weren't for your New Veggie Adventure Challenge, I might not have branched out and tried this wonderful veggie!
