Summertime, and the living is easy hot. We hover around 110 degrees or higher on a daily basis here in Phoenix in the summer. What can you do in heat like that? Cool off in the pool or stay inside until evening. Even at midnight though it’s easily 100 degrees and any breeze feels like a blast in the face from a hairdryer. We are finding ways to have fun though, and I find myself in a more laid-back mood than usual, wanting to spend more time with my family and hobbies and less time blogging or on the computer. If my posting slows down a bit over the next month or two, you can be sure that I am relaxing in the pool or eating ice cream with the kiddos. Summertime is here, and I plan to enjoy it.
Summer means..Less time outside, more time creating inside
multiple trips to the ice cream shop
giggles and grins at the pool
less time blogging, more time crafting
relaxing with the family
only venturing out at night
less tv watching, more rea
more laundry (towels, towels, towels!)
fun, fun, and more fun
What does summer mean to you?
