I always know it’s been a good week when the laundry basket is full of workout clothes. Since I own my favorite Nike Tempo running shorts in almost every color, the more colorful the basket the better. Unfortunately, with my tummy troubles and recent exhaustion, the only workout clothes finding their way into the laundry room were a pair of leggings and a comfy Underarmour tank top. I wore them to clean the house.
If you had run into me during the past two months, you probably would have seen me in a dress. Not because I like to look fancy, but because my bloated tummy fit into dresses better than pants or shorts.
But today? Today is the start of a new week. A gluten-free week. It’s time to sweat again. I am by no means healed, and I know I will have to start slowly. I won’t be doing 300 lunges the first time out. But I will start. I will do something. Because something is better than nothing. Today, I am dressed for success.
So glad you're able to get back into the groove! Must feel great to have your body working for you again, rather than against you.
I'm still lunging here near Boston; I restarted your plan from the beginning, albeit only 200/week. Nearly at the last round (jumping). So if you end up starting a full or modified lunge series from the beginning in a week or two, lemme know & I'll join you.
Glad you are feeling better to work out. That is the worst feeling. Although I am not a fan of laundry, I always love those weeks where I run out of workout clothes. It is definitely an idea of how well my workout week went.
Cute shorts! š
You go, girl! Glad to hear you're (almost) back to your old self. š
