Remember how I got a fancy camera last month? Well, I have been having so much fun learning how to use it. There is a LOT to learn, and I have barely scratched the surface of photography education. One thing that I have been excited to start using is Photoshop. I finally downloaded it yesterday, and was instantly overwhelmed with the complexity of the program. Thankfully, there are many tutorials on how to use it. The following photos were edited with directions from Kevin and Amanda using The Pioneer Woman’s free actions.

Which one do you like best?
If you have any photography tutorial links to share, please do so in the comment section. I would love to check them out.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Saturday!
I use those same Actions!!! They're great, huh?!
I love them! They work well for so many photos.
fresh and colorful
Fun! I love B & W photography, but not so much in food :-). I do very basic photo editing in photoshop. On day if I ever have more time, I'll learn some more. Glad your having fun with your photos!
I have NO idea how to edit food photos in Photoshop! So much to learn.
fresh and colourful!
by which i mean colorful. my Canadian is getting the better of me :]
Definitely fresh and colorful š
Fresh and colorful…and the black and white. The subjects are too cute!
Hey Alysa, here are a couple more links to some free actions that I've downloaded and LOVE! I did end up buying the full set from Pure, and Oh so Posh but with the others the freebies were enough to satisfy me for the time being š
Only 1 set of actions here but a few textures, storyboards and a before and after, all FREE!! Also if you "like" Paint the Moon on facebook I think she has a freebie under her exclusive tab on the left. Annie is one of my favorites and I may be purchasing from her very very soon!! Keep an eye on this freebie page because she changes it up once in awhile. I've gotten 3 free sets from her. One of which I use on just about EVERY picture!

If I remember correctly there are two sets of freebies here. If you click the "test drive" tab at the top and enter a few pieces of information basically just your email they send you a download š These are really great but a little too "grungy" for my taste so I use them occasionally but decrease the opacity significantly š

You have to "like" it then on the left there is a VIP tab where you can download the freebies š
Let me know if you need help with anything! I'd be happy to walk you through if there is something in particular you'd like to do. I am by no means an expert but have been around the block once or twice š
You are AWESOME! Thank you so much for the links!
Nice job! I like the "Warmer" version.
I dont know if you're using Photoshop Elements or not, but if you are I'm doing a bunch of video tutorials on it! You can see the first one here:

Nicole, I have Photoshop CS3. It seems like most of the new video tutorials are based on Elements.
