Psssst…this is really good gluten-free bread!

If you have been reading my blog for any time at all, you know I don’t do product reviews very often.  I have to be head-over-heels about a product to devote an entire post to it.  Well, this new gluten-free bread is very exciting for our family and I couldn’t wait to share it with you!  Canyon Bakehouse sent me three of their products to try last week, a loaf…

Frittata with kale and purple potatoes

frittata with purple potatoes and kale

Leila started a new ballerina class.  It was her favorite…

Our house…

Maple Pecan Coconut Quinoa Breakfast

Have you noticed that I’m on a bit of a coconut kick lately?  I’m cooking just about everything in either coconut oil or coconut milk.  I can’t help myself. This recipe is no different.  I made a hot gluten-free breakfast cereal out of tri-colored quinoa and coconut milk, added maple syrup and topped it with pecans.  A delicious and healthy way to start the day. You get protein and fiber…
