I took an unplanned blogging break this weekend and soaked up time with family and friends. As we talk and joke and laugh and enjoy breaking bread together, it’s easy to forget the meaning of this holiday. So I want to pause and say thanks.
Thank you to the men and women who serve so that I can be free. Thank you to the men and women who gave all so that my family can be safe. Thank you to the families left behind. I’m sorry that on most days I take this freedom for granted. I know that this freedom isn’t free, but comes at a great cost.
So I humbly say thank you.
