I don’t know about you, but I feel so busy during the week that time just flies by. I get so busy that my mind never stops going, even when I’m trying to sleep. It’s usually around Wednesday or Thursday that I start to feel that familiar stress and anxiety start to creep in.
This time I’m not going to run from it, I’m not going to hide. I’m going to tackle this craziness head on.
I’m going to try Wednesdays “unplugged” for a while. Not necessarily unplugged from from every gadget in the house, but unplugged from social media for sure. That means Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest. How will I survive?
Ahem.
Wednesday, a day in the middle of the week to catch up, reset, take a breath.
I spent most of today unplugged because I thought today was Wednesday.
Oops.
So I’ll give it a go tomorrow and let you know how it goes. If anyone wants to join me, let me know!
I’m not going to be super strict about this because sometimes important social media events happen on Wednesdays (like the #RDchat for instance). If that’s the case, I’ll do a Tuesday or Thursday instead, or maybe just unplug for most of the day. We’ll see what happens.
While I’m resetting or whatever you want to call it, make sure to check out my new post on the Van’s blog called “5 Ways to Add a Nutritious Boost to your Breakfast.”
