My kids are in Pre-K and 1st Grade, and already we are feeling the tug of a go-go-go lifestyle. Between soccer, baseball, school functions, and church, sometimes it feels like we never stop moving. What will it be like when they’re a little older and want to add music, dance, and other sports into the mix? Yikes.
With our busy schedule, the crockpot has become my new best friend. I use it almost every day. Sometimes it’s just to have cooked chicken or pork that I can use for tacos, sandwiches, or whatever, and sometimes I use it for a one-pot meal like chili.
This chili recipe was inspired by this one from my Crockpot Chili Recipe Roundup. I used free-range turkey instead of beef, left out the jalapeno for the kids’ sake, and added my own blend of spices.
Perfect for the end of a long busy day, this turkey chili will warm you up and nourish your weary body.
How do you keep your family well-fed during a busy week?

I have made this chili at least 20x …. and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! My husband likes it, my kids like it, I feel so good eating it and feeding my kids. It’s my #1 Pinterest recipe I’ve ever made. Just wanted to say thank you!! And, I noticed that you are InspiredRd which is funny because my business is Inspire Counseling Center…. it was destiny that I would love your chili. Thank you! Lauren
I’ve made this three times already. It’s delicious and easy to make. My boyfriend and I really enjoy having it for dinner. And the leftovers you get from it are even better!
For me, the ratio of tomatoes to turkey was off in this recipe (too much tomatoes, not enough turkey). I’m trying it again with half the tomatoes, which I think will work better for me. Thanks for the jumping off point =)

Greetings! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be fantast…
Tonight was my second time making this. I made it a few weeks ago for my lunches and I am doing the same this week. The first time I absolutely LOVED it, and this time, I cut my prep time down. Hopefully this second batch will be just as delicious!
