Dear Mom, thank you.
Thank you for showing me what true love really looks like,
and for not letting me settle for less.
Thank you for teaching me what it means to be a family.
Thank you for making all of my Halloween costumes over the years. You always made me exactly what I asked for.
Even when it was somewhat of a strange request…
Thank you for instilling in me a sense of adventure, and for teaching me that girls can go camping and get dirty too.
Thank you for teaching me how to love baseball. Definitely came in handy, wouldn’t you say?
Thank you for supporting me in my faith journey.
Thank you for taking me to college, and for waiting until Dad was driving you away to bawl your eyes out.
Thank you for being there for me in my biggest moments.
Thank you for everything you have been, everything you will be, and everything you are.
I love you, Mom.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all of you wonderful moms out there. I hope you feel extra loved today!
This was really great and the photos brought back some wonderful memories of some little toe-heads showing me how they had learned to read and their parents making fools of themselves at the Alamo in obnoxious kelly-green cowboy hats on St. Paddy’s day, 1984. Thanks for sharing.
