Quick Christmas Centerpiece

by inspiredrd on November 30, 2010

A few years ago, I bought two boxes of vintage ornaments from an antique store in Tombstone, Arizona.  I love the shapes, colors and detail of them.  However, they seem to get lost among all of the other ornaments on our big tree, so I wanted a way to give them a special place of their own.  I decided to put them on a silver Armetale platter with some tiny inexpensive ornaments from Target.  The result is a colorful shiny display that brings attention to the detail of the vintage ornaments.
How do you like to decorate for the holidays?

I love them! So cute! It's the little things sometime that can bring such cheer! I just got a tiny tree to decorate:)

Thanks Corinne! I hope you find some fun ornaments for your tree!

i decorated my tree today and realized later that i'd left out two containers of ornaments! the tree looks full without them so i took some inspiration from you & put my extras in a flower vase! such a great idea, alysa! :)

Thanks Sarah! I'm sure they look pretty in the vase.
