Saturday Sweetness

This morning, my CSA delivery guy my dad brought us a gorgeous haul of colorful produce from Agritopia.  So much goodness here.

After tucking it all away in the fridge, my two little rascals chased me out of the kitchen and told me to “Stay in yours room!” (Leila adds an ‘s’ onto you and your, and I feel no urge to correct her). I had heard them whispering and plotting yesterday, so I was curious. Thirty minutes later, they ran in to tell me I could come out. “Mom, we cleaned the frigerator for you! It’s so shiny!”

What a sweet Saturday already.

Your two little ones are so sweet! Cleaning the fridge for you…it gives me hope for my 3 yr old and 10 month old girls 🙂

Thanks for the update on the CSA. Question for you: would you compare your experience with Bountiful Baskets to the CSA share? The overall cost is roughly the same when you buy organic and I generally get one organic weekly though BB. Your input would be great and hopefully help me make my decision.

Love your blog! It’s fun reading someone local to my area for a change!

Hi Rosanne! I only got the organic basket with BB a few times, so I’m not quite sure how to compare. The main difference is the fruit. You won’t see as much variety probably as you would with BB. But I love the baskets so far, and I love supporting our local farm. The farmers are incredible, they put in so much hard work. You should go over meet them in person! You could always try out a season and see if you like it…
