My mom called yesterday to tell me I needed to go harvest some artichokes. I hadn’t been to the garden in a couple weeks, so the kids and I headed over. Coach Bob was standing guard, and everything looked beautiful in the cloudy sunset.
We harvested four artichokes that are destined to drown in garlic butter tonight.
I snapped a shot of the pathway through the farm as we were leaving. A dreamy scene.
Thank you Mom and Dad for working hard in the garden so I can come up from behind and scoop up the rewards. I can’t wait to eat my artichoke tonight.
what a beautiful garden! we grew artichokes one year- they were so good! 🙂
I never really ever thought about how you could harvest artichokes – maybe because I’ve only ever eaten them once in my life – what a fun garden!
