It’s the best meal of the year: Thanksgiving Dinner. I’m getting excited right now just thinking about it. The turkey, the mashed potatoes, the stuffing…it’s all so wonderful.
I remember my first Thanksgiving after getting married. There were only four of us celebrating in a tiny apartment, but the table was loaded with food. We were young and nostalgic and therefore made all the dishes we loved from our childhood.
All of them.
We had leftovers for weeks.
I’m pretty sure I made a boxed stuffing that year. It was okay in that boxed stuffing sort of way, but as I’ve gotten older and more mature in the kitchen, I’ve found something that tastes better. Much better. Like, step away from the box, and make this for your family better.
This wild rice stuffing is incredible. Savory, a little sweet, bursting with fresh herb flavor. Everyone will be asking for the recipe.
This year, step away from the box and make this instead. You will be so glad you did.

You just saved my Thanksgiving!!!!
