When I started my journey with celiac disease, I was completely overwhelmed. It turned out that I needed three things to get me through the rough start: 1) Education 2) Supportive family members, and 3) A gluten-free community.
One of the first people I met in the gluten-free community was Chandice Probst. Her passion for this community is exceeded only by her sweetness of character. I am incredibly thankful for her friendship and guidance the past few years, and I am so excited to share with you the release of her first cookbook!
Chandice and her mom Tana have written a cookbook that transforms everyday family recipes into gluten-free favorites. They also teach you how to cook on a budget which is a challenge for any gluten-free family.
I have already dog-eared my copy of the book and can’t wait to make some of these goodies:
- Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan Bread
- Mongolian Beef
- Tin Foil Dinner (for camping)
- Crepes with Sweet Cheese and Strawberries
- Buttermilk Biscuits (pictured below)
You can grab your own copy of Gluten-Free on a Budget on Amazon. I am also giving one away to a lucky reader below!
Are you a gluten-free family? Do you have a friend who eats gluten-free?
Enter to win a copy of Gluten-Free on a Budget by leaving a comment below! (Yes it’s that easy.)
Winner will be randomly chosen on January 30th. (One entry per person.)

Oh I would love to have this! I have celiac but go out of my way to make easy foods that do not contain gluten naturally, mostly to please my husband. But I am in need to recipes so I feel like I can eat like a “normal” person too- not just someone eating fruits and veggies 🙂

My friend Bonnie is going through the process of being diagnosed, but her doctors are almost positive she has Celiac. She is 23, and an outstanding Southern baker. While I don’t have celiac, I want her to feel loved and supported on this journey. This book sounds like a great gift idea for her!
