Disney’s PLANES (aka Redemption for Cars 2)

Joe and I had the opportunity to see an advance screening of Disney’s PLANES this week.  I would have gotten a cool photo of us sporting our 3D glasses, but they are pretty strict about camera usage.  There was a very serious (and buff) security guard that pounced on anyone pulling out anything even resembling a phone.  It was quite entertaining. Once the movie started, we settled into our seats…

Inspiration from Guatemala and the #fhbloggers

The Food for the Hungry bloggers are in Guatemala this week, and I have been soaking up every post.  Maybe it’s because I’ve seen firsthand the way communities are transformed through child sponsorship, or maybe it’s because this crew is so dang talented.  In any case, here are a few of my favorites so far… Loving Like God Intended – Lindsey Nobles I want to live like them. Join the conversation about Human Care

There is something stirring in the air, can you feel it?  A mighty wind blowing through our homes, our schools, our churches.  An awakening of the spirit, a million tiny little whispers that make the heart beat faster.  Moms rising up to fight injustice, bloggers tackling adoption ethics, young people refusing to settle into a comfortable American life. Do justice.  Love mercy.  Walk humbly.  –  It’s not just a bumper…
