As we head into the weekend, I wanted to share three things I’m loving right now. As someone who gives a weary side-eye to commercials and marketing tactics, I love to get the scoop on new things from people I trust. So please share something you’re loving in the comments, I want to get the scoop from you!

Live fashionABLE – I had never paid good money for a bag before this year. But I realized something as my latest purse was falling apart. Spending $20-$30 a few times a year on cheaply made bags was doing nothing good for the environment, or myself. So I finally invested in a good bag this past February. Not only is the Mayume Tote well made, but it is crafted by women in Ethiopia and Kenya who are being actively empowered through work by the Live fashionABLE company. I seriously loooooooove this bag, and it is perfect with my capsule wardrobe.
Just recently, this same company started working with women in Nashville to create a new line of jewelry. I don’t know about you, but I can’t help wanting to wear jewelry with a purpose. In a world overflowing with cheap baubles, it feels good to put on something that tells a story.

Paleo Turkey Crockpot Chili – Every year at this time, my husband declares war on junk food. After a season of late night bus rides and post-game beers, he needs a reset. This is one of my favorite throw-in-the-pot and go recipes.
The only thing that would make this chili better would be some cool fall temperatures to go with it.
*****
Bandersnatch – One of my very favorite bloggers is getting ready to release her new book, and I can’t wait. Erika’s words are poetic and beautiful and can’t help changing the way you look at the world. Check out the book trailer below, and be sure to follow her on Instagram for more inspiration.
You can pre-order Bandersnatch here, or pick one up at your local Barnes & Noble.

That bag is so gorgeous -and I’m the same way and by several inexpensive bags all year long when really, one quality bag like this one would be so much better for everyone!
I never wanted to spend a bunch of money for a label (I’m just not into labels, I guess), but I love finally having a nice bag and knowing the money goes to a great cause.
I really like the look and purpose behind Noonday Collection. Have you heard of it? I haven’t seen any of it in person as of yet, but one of my other favorite bloggers wears a bunch!
