Happy 2nd Birthday to my sweet Leila. Some of your favorite things right now:-your bellybutton-Daddy-bubbles-speaking your mind-the color purple-“Mom, watch!”-playing with Joe-sitting on Hobbs-your two babies and making them fly (thanks Grandpa)-Grandpa aka “BaPa”-eating…anything and everything-spinning in circles-getting dirty-dancing You are such a light in my life. I love you baby girl.
Last week I took the kids to see Jeff at the ballpark for the first time since we moved to Phoenix. They had a great time! Joe’s biggest concern was finding out where they store all of the bubble gum. He kept pointing to different places saying, “maybe they keep the gum in there!” He enjoyed a piece of Bazooka while watching Daddy throw batting practice. Leila loved running…

We love going down there to run, walk, explore, whatever. Sunday, we took the kids and Hobbs down to the wash for some playtime. Hobbs romped and swam, the kids ran and threw rocks, Jeff and I laughed and lunged…
I hope that you all had a marvelous Thanksgiving. Mine was supposed to start with a 5k race, but because I apparently don’t know how to sleep without injuring my neck, I was unable to run. I spent all day with my head tilted to the right, but at least I could still eat! My parents (Grandma & Grandpa) came over and we grilled, baked, boiled and dutch ovened our…
