This morning I walked out to the kitchen to find a dozen long-stemmed red roses and a dark chocolate bar with sea salt waiting for me. As Jeff put his arms around me, he whispered romance into my ear. “You should be able to eat this chocolate bar, I researched the company and they clean the lines thoroughly then throw the first two batches out to make sure the chocolate…
I went to take photos of a friend’s house yesterday so they can put it on the market. While getting ready to shoot the bedroom, little Gavin climbed up on the bed. As he jumped up and down, shouted “TOUCHDOWN!” and grinned from ear to ear, I couldn’t help doing an impromptu photo session. Man he’s cute. See more of my photography HERE.
It’s easy to become cynical and jaded when leaders and celebrities disappoint us time and time again. When your spiritual leader is leading a double life of lies and affairs. I wasn’t quite sure how to start this blog post. I mean, how do you talk about something so huge, so horrible, so important? And then I took Leila to school and it hit me. She is only free to walk to school without the threat of violence because she was born in a country with a functioning justice system. Billions around the world do not have that freedom. Billions.…
